På grund af grænselukningen mellem Tyskland og Danmark og den tilknyttede lukning af togtrafikken, er det på nuværende tidspunkt ikke muligt at købe billetter til de internationale IC tog mellem København/Aarhus og Hamborg.

Togene mellem Fredericia og Flensburg kører som normalt, hvorfor alle rejsesøgninger vil have Flensborg som viapunkt.

Husk pladsbilletten

OBS: I perioden 19. juni 2020 til 16. august 2020 skal du have en pladsbillet til de direkte internationale tog til og fra Hamborg. Det skal du pga. sporarbejde og den travle sommerperiode. I perioder med pladskrav er pladsreservation gratis ved samtidig billetkøb. Kunder med Pass produkter skal betale for pladsreservation.

Har du allerede billet, men ingen pladsbillet, eller har du et Interrail Pass kan du købe en international pladsbillet, og sikre dig en siddeplads i toget.

Du kan købe pladsbillet til rejser i forbindelse med: Tyskland, Østrig, Tjekkiet, Holland, Belgien og Luxembourg.

Hvis du har købt en Orange Europa-billet, så skal du have en pladsbillet til den afgang, der fremgår af billetten. Det er ikke muligt at købe specialprodukter online, som fx pladser til nattog, barnevogn og cykler.

Rejs på 1. klasse

Rejser du på 1. klasse til udlandet, får du mere benplads og bredere sæder. Der er som regel også mere ro på 1. klasse. I toget er der gratis aviser, og du kan med din DSB billet til 1. klasse hente en gratis kop kaffe eller te eller en kildevand i DSB 7-Eleven* på stationen. Du har også adgang til DSB 1’ Lounges med din billet til 1. klasse.

Børn med på rejsen

Som voksen kan du ofte tage op til 4 børn under 15 år med på en gratis børnebillet. Dette gælder dog ikke for de fleste billetter til nattog. Spørg ved bestilling. 

Husk, at børn der optager eget sæde skal betale for en pladsbillet.

Børn, der rejser alene eller sammen med andre voksne, betaler ca. halv pris af en voksen. Billetten kan købes hos DSB Kundecenter Udland 70 13 14 18 eller i DSB Salg & Service på stationerne.

  • International tickets are divided into three ticket types:

    • Non Flex: The ticket is not refundable
    • Mid Flex: The ticket is usually not refundable as these are often DSB Orange Europa products
    • High Flex: The ticket is refundable as it is generally a full price product. Note, however, that this does not apply to Print at Home tickets for journeys in connection with Sweden.

  • Usually, you may only bring luggage you can easily carry yourself. Hand luggage whose dimensions do not exceed 100 x 60 x 30 cm must be placed above or under your seat or in the designated luggage areas. It is allowed to bring three pieces of hand luggage per person. Large items, such as skis, prams and large musical instruments can only be brought onboard if the train have designated areas. 

  • It is not possible to bring bicycles on the EuroCity and InterCityExpress between Denmark and Germany. However, you may bring your bicycle on certain InterCity trains if space is available on the entire journey. On several national InterCity trains and Regional trains, it may be necessary to book space for your bicycle.

    You can order your bicycle ticket for international trains 92 days before departure and 60 days before departure on the Danish part of your journey.

  • If you need to bring a pram on EuroCity and InterCityExpress, it must be foldable and be carried as hand luggage. It is free to bring a pram as hand luggage. On international trains, you cannot book space for a pram. There are four family zones on InterCity Express where it is possible to have one pram, provided that this space is not occupied by luggage or other passengers. On EuroCity, there is room for two prams in the flex area.

  • International tickets can usually be booked and purchased no sooner than 92 days before the journey.

    If your journey includes a night train (CNL or EN) through Germany or a high-speed train or night train in Sweden, you can buy tickets 121 days before departure. Contact DSB Kundecenter Udland (DSB Customer Centre International) on +45 70 13 14 18 to book a couchette berth or sleeper car.

  • We sell international train tickets to destinations in the following countries via DSB Netbutik Udland:

    • Print at Home: Belgium, The Netherlands, Luxembourg, Germany and Øresundstog to Sweden*
    • By mail delivery: Austria, Switzerland, The Czech Republic, Sweden and Norway

    Via DSB Kundecenter Udland (DSB Customer Centre International) on +45 70 13 14 18, you can also buy your journey to the following destinations: London, Paris and destinations in Northern Italy.

    *Print at Home tickets for Øresundstog to Sweden require that you travel to/from a station outside the Greater Copenhagen area.

  • As a general rule, you can bring one dog on your journey. The individual countries may have different rules for dogs depending on the type of train. The following applies if you travel to Germany with a dog: If it is a small dog, you can have in a bag on your lap, it travels on your ticket. If it is a large dog, it must sit on the floor, and you need to remember to buy a ticket for the dog from DSB Kundecenter Udland (DSB Customer Centre International) on +45 70 13 14 18 or contact DSB Salg & Service Udland (DSB Ticket Sales International) at the stations. In some countries, your dog will have to wear a muzzle on the journey. Contact DSB Kundecenter Udland (DSB Customer Centre International) on +45 70 13 14 18 if you are in doubt about whether you can bring your dog on the journey.

  • If you travel by 1st class to Germany, you will have more legroom and wider seats. Usually, there is also more quiet on 1st class. 
    The train offers free newspapers, and with your 1st class DSB ticket, you can get a free cup of coffee or tea from DSB 7-Eleven at the station. 
    A 1st class ticket also gives access to DSB1’ Lounges at Aarhus, Odense and Copenhagen Central Station. With a 1st class ticket, you also have access to DB Lounge at the large German stations such as Hamburg, Berlin, Bremen, Cologne, Frankfurt and Munich.
