1. General singletickets
1.1 Validity
A single ticket is valid for one journey on the selected route on the date stated on the ticket.
The ticket also allows you to travel freely by train, bus, metro and local/light rail in the departure and arrival zone stated on the ticket. However, this does not apply to single tickets for stretches of 1-3 zones locally in Jutland and on Funen.
The ticket is not tied to a specific departure. You are free to choose which connection you take, as long as it is within the current ticket day. The ticket day does not follow the normal calendar day, but applies in the period from 04:00 to 03:59 the next day.
If you buy a ticket for departure between 00:00 and 03:59, the validity will follow the calendar day, but your journey must have started no later than 03:59.
You can purchase access to DSB 1'. The additional cost depends on whether you travel by InterCity or regional train. Read more in the terms and conditions for DSB 1'.
1.1.1 Special for single tickets to Bornholm
You must use the ferry departure stated in your itinerary.
Travel to Bornholm includes Øresund train to Malmö/Hyllie. From Malmö/Hyllie, you must change to a Swedish Pågatåg, which runs the rest of the way to Ystad. In Ystad, you change to the ferry to Rønne. The ticket is valid for the entire journey to Rønne including the entrance ticket to the ferry. Please note that an entry ticket to the ferry is required on all departures.
