1. General information about the DSB's app
DSB's app is an app for Android and iOS smartphones where you can buy tickets and commuter cards. You also have the option of using various services, e.g., traffic information.
1.1 Using DSB's app as a guest user
If you have chosen to use the DSB's app as a guest, you are anonymous. This means that if you delete the DSB's app with valid tickets, they are lost. We cannot recreate them for you.
It is possible to create a DSB Plus profile after you have shopped as a guest and link your tickets to the profile. This way, you are no longer anonymous and can take advantages of the benefits of having a profile. You can for example, log in to the DSB's app on a new phone and fetch your tickets, if they have not yet become valid. If they already are valid, they can no longer be transferred.
1.2 Using DSB's app with a DSB Plus profile
You can choose to create or log in to the DSB's app with a DSB Plus profile.
Read more about term and conditions for DSB Plus profile and how to create one.
A DSB Plus profile is necessary if you want to be able to buy Commuter Cards, fetch a valid Youth Card or if you are a business customer and want to pay using invoice.
When you are logged in with a DSB Plus profile, you can transfer tickets and cards between your own mobile devices. Be aware that tickets can only be transferred before the validity starts and can only be on one device at a time.
You can transfer your commuter card between devices a maximum of 5 times per validity period.
2. System requirements and delivery
2.1 System requirements
DSB's app works on iPhone with iOS version 15 and higher and on Android with version 8 and higher. Phones that cannot use App Store or Google Play are not supported. We do not support beta operating systems.”
2.2 Delivery
Tickets and cards are considered delivered when they are sent from DSB to the DSB's app. If the phone is offline, we cannot deliver the ticket to the app. As soon as the phone is online, the app will sync with DSB to fetch tickets.
It is your responsibility to ensure that the phone is online so that the ticket or card is received in the app before you start your journey.
3. Ticket inspection
Tickets and cards purchased in the DSB's app must always be displayed to staff via the DSB's app. The phone must be online and have mobile data activated upon request. It is not permitted to print or display screen images of tickets and cards.
It is your responsibility to ensure that the validity of the ticket or card can be verified by the ticket inspection staff by visual inspection and scanning of the barcode. If you lose your mobile phone, or if your mobile phone runs out of power, or have a damaged screen, or in any other way are unable to show your ticket, you must expect to pay a inspection fee. If you cannot show your seat reservation, you cannot claim the seat.

3.1 Ticket inspection of tickets and cards on Apple Watch
If you have an Apple Watch and an iPhone, you can choose to show your ticket or card on your iPhone or Apple Watch when you meet ticket inspection in DSB trains.
If you show the ticket on your Apple Watch, the staff has the right to see the ticket on the corresponding iPhone at any time as well.
Your Apple Watch must always be connected to your iPhone to display a ticket or card. It is not possible to show tickets on an Apple Watch if, for example, your phone runs out of power.
