Terms and Conditions Print At Home ticket

These terms of sale contain information on the collection and use of personal data in connection with your purchase of a ticket, payment, validity, changes and reimbursement.

Personal Data

When you buy a ticket, DSB will ask for the information required in order for us to issue the ticket in question to you and subsequently verify the validity of the ticket when you travel.

The data we process is information concerning your email address and the last 4 digits of the payment card you have chosen to use as identification in connection with your journey.

DSB is the data controller under the General Data Protection Regulation. The data is stored pursuant to the General Data Protection Regulation’s Article 6(1b) as the information is necessary in order for us to fulfil our agreement with you.

The data registered with DSB in connection with your purchase will be saved for the current year plus 5 years pursuant to the provisions of the Danish Bookkeeping Act. Other information will be deleted no later than after 3 years from the date your case is completed.

In connection with its IT operations, DSB uses data processors who transfer data to countries outside of the EU or EEA. Read more about DSB’s data processing and your rights in DSB’s privacy policy.

Disclosure

We disclose pseudonymized information about tickets and travel cards with relevant transport companies. For journeys within DOT’s area (Zealand and the islands), this includes the parties in DOT. For journeys outside DOT’s area, the information is shared with the transport companies for which the travel authorization was valid. The purpose disclosing data is analysis, traffic planning, and revenue distribution.

Similarly, we may disclose pseudonymized travel information with the Danish Transport Authority, which, among other tasks, manages the distribution of certain revenues within public transport.

If you have purchased a ticket or travel card valid for transport companies other than DSB, DSB may — if relevant — disclose your personal data and information about the purchase with the respective transport companies. This occurs in connection with their handling of penalty fare cases, travel time guarantee cases, or customer inquiries.

The disclosing of data is carried out based on DSB’s and the other transport companies’ legitimate interests in achieving the aforementioned purposes, in accordance with Article 6(1)(e) and (f) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Furthermore, we may disclose pseudonymized travel information for research projects if full anonymization is not possible. Such sharing will only occur if we specifically assess that it is lawful and that the purpose is valid and legitimate.

Payment

Print At Home Tickets in DSB Netbutik must be paid for online with a payment card or MobilePay.

Validity, changes and reimbursement

The ticket can be changed/refunded until one day before departure. However, this does not apply to DSB Orange Tickets. These cannot be changed or refunded.

Seat Reservations purchased together with Tickets cannot be changed or refunded. If you purchase your Tickets and Seat Reservations separately, your Seat Reservations can be changed or refunded.       

DSB Print At Home tickets that are printed on paper are valid for train journeys between the stations that are listed on the ticket.        

DSB Orange Tickets are not valid for connected journeys via trains/buses and metro.             

Seat Reservations purchased together with DSB Orange Tickets cannot be changed or refunded. 

If you purchase your DSB Orange Tickets and Seat Reservations separately, your Seat Reservations can be changed or refunded.       

Seat Reservation purchased with DSB Orange FRI Tickets will be refunded if Orange Fri Ticket is also refunded within 30 min. before departure. 

The Print At Home Zone Ticket is valid for unlimited travel by train, bus and Metro for a specific time period in the number of zones you have bought.

The DSB Print At Home ticket is only valid together with your chosen Print Yourself ID. The ticket is sent to you in a PDF format via email. This means that you need to have Acrobat Reader installed on your computer in order to view and print the ticket.

Your purchase has been confirmed when following information is appearing on your screen: 'thank you for your purchase, your order number is. Xxxx' and when you have received your ticket by mail. Please check that you have received your ticket by mail before you travel.

You can either choose to print out the Print At Home ticket or display it on your mobile, tablet or PC.

The ticket must be displayed in its entirety it must be possible to scan the code on the ticket. Always remember to bring a valid Print Self-ID. If you have used an electronic driving licens or payment card as a print ID, it must be possible to present this on your phone.

If you choose to print the DSB Print At Home, it must be printed on a white A4 paper. At yout own risk, the DSB Print At Home Ticket and the selected Print Self-ID can be transferred to another traveler. 

DSB Print At Home tickets and Print At Home zone tickets that are carried and shown on a smartphone or tablet/computer are only valid for journeys via DSB trains and S-trains.

It is a criminal offence to copy or misuse a DSB Print At Home ticket.
