✔ You can commute between your home and school, educational institution, gym or friends.
✔ Travel at half price in local fare zones outside the zones covered by your Youth Card.
✔ Get a Commuter Seat Reservation for DKK 10 within the zones covered by your Youth Card.
✔ You have to be enrolled in a youth educational programme/higher educational programme that entitles you to receive the Danish State Educational Grant or be between 16 and 19 years old.

With a Youth Card, you can travel as much as you want, all days of the week – at a fixed, low price.
Usually, you only have to travel a few times a week for it to pay off. For example, 1-2 days to your educational institution and 1-2 days to leisure time activities or during weekends in your local fare zone. .
Travel cheaply throughout the country
With your Youth card in hand, you can get discounts throughout the country. Some places you can travel with a Youth ticket and save 25% when you have your Youth card with you on the trip. Other places you can travel for half price with a Child Ticket..
Travels in Jutland and Funen*
If you travel by train within local tariff areas, you must travel on a regular Child Ticket or Rejsekort (Flex or Anonymous, where you travel as a 'child').
If you travel by train across local tariff areas, you must travel on a Youth Ticket or Rejsekort, where you travel as a 'youth'.
If you travel by bus, you must travel on a regular Child Ticket or Rejsekort (flex or anonymous where you travel as a 'child') outside your local tariff area.
Travel on Zealand and the islands*
you must travel on a regular Child Ticket or Rejsekort (Flex or Anonymous, where you travel as a 'child').
Travel across the Great Belt (Storebælt)*

Download your Youth Card in the DSB's app
If you live and study in two different fare zones, you can get your Youth Card in the DSB's app – and then you will be ready to travel unlimited 4 days later. You might have to wait up to 14 days for a plastic card
Buy a seat reservation for DKK 10
If you want to be sure to get a seat on the train, you can buy a Commuter Seat Reservation in the DSB's app or in 7-Eleven at the station for only DKK 10 for certain routes.

You can get your Youth Card in an app depending on where you live and where you study.
DSB's app
You can download your Youth Card in the DSB's app if you live and study in two different fare zones.
DOT Tickets app
If you live and study within the same fare zone on Zealand, Lolland, Falster and Møn, you can get your Youth Card in the DOT Tickets app. This could be either in the Greater Copenhagen zones 1-99, Western Zealand zones 101-199 or Southern Zealand, Lolland, Falster and Møn zones 201-299.

Yes, your Youth Card is valid throughout the period you have ordered – weekdays, weekends and holidays.

If you have ordered a plastic card, it can take up to 14 days from the day you order until you receive your Youth Card in the post.
