How we process your personal data when issuing an international ticket

When you purchase a ticket, DSB requests the personal data necessary to issue the ticket to you and subsequently verify the ticket during your journey.

The information we process always includes your email address, name, and age. Additionally, we may process information about your date of birth, country of residence, and phone number.

DSB is the data controller under data protection legislation. The information is collected in accordance with Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and is necessary for us to fulfill our agreement with you.

Information registered with DSB in connection with your purchase will be stored for the current year + 5 years in accordance with the rules of the Danish Bookkeeping Act.

In connection with travel to and within France and the United Kingdom, DSB may share your information with the railway companies involved in the journey. This sharing is necessary for the companies to issue the ticket and provide updates regarding any changes to your journey.
