You can get compensation if you are delayed for more than 60 minutes when you travel abroad.
• You have travelled with DSB on an international ticket.
• You are delayed for 60 minutes or more.
• Your ticket will be refunded.
• If you travel on an international ticket bought from another transport company, you have to apply for compensation from them.
How to apply
You need three things to apply for compensation for a delay:
1. The planned departure and arrival time.
2. The time you arrived at your destination (>60 minutes later than expected).
3. Copy of your ticket type, seat reservation and documentation of the delay, if relevant.
4. Enter your bank account details.
You will get a refund of 25-50%
If you are delayed for 60 minutes or more, up to 25% of the ticket price will be refunded.
If you are delayed for 120 minutes or more, up to 50% of the ticket price will be refunded.
Delay with interrail pass
If you are on interrail in Europe and are delayed for more than 60 minutes on one or more routes, you can get compensation through Eurorail Group.
