Children aged 0-11 usually travel free on the train when accompanied by an adult. You can take up to two children under 12 with you on your ticket when you travel. This applies to all Standard tickets.
Children aged 12-15 do not travel for free but are eligible for a discount on a Children's Ticket. They can also bring one child along for free on their ticket.
