About DSB DSB carries some 168 million passengers every year and operates approx. 80% of passenger train services in Denmark. DSB provides rail services within Denmark and across international borders. Passenger train km totalled 57 million in 2007. The DSB Group has a turnover of DKK9.5bn and employs a staff of 9,200. In 2007, DSB recorded a profit of DKK 850m.

Company Profile
In the last decade DSB has undergone a tremendous change from a government department to a state-owned company. It has been a period of great rationalisation and refocusing. Infrastructure management was separated in 1997 and DSB's Freight division was disposed of in 2000.
DSB International
DSB International is DSB's spearhead on the railway market and undertakes the task of bidding for rail franchises on DSB's focus markets: Denmark, Sweden and Germany. It is DSB's goal to grow through international expansion and by winning rail franchises in Denmark and abroad in international partnerships or through acquisitions.
