The Perfect Match

Bid projects are developed in close cooperation with strong European partners and other stakeholders. The best partners for the projects are chosen to complement DSB competencies and ensure the perfect match for developing the winning bid.

Local Presence
DSB works in local core teams headed by a local Project Manager and therefore for each bid, DSB and its partner will team up in joint premises. The core team receives project guidance from management and specialist support from the partnering companies.

Together with our partners, DSB undertakes the entire bidding process, from market assessment, PQQ (Pre Qualification Questionnaire) and submission of tender, to mobilization and implementation of operating solutions once a rail franchise has been won. This process takes place in close cooperation with DSB's and the partners' basis organizations thereby utilizing joint key competencies.

The Winning Bid

After winning a rail franchise contract, DSB and its partners will build a new organization to be in charge of the mobilization period, i.e. the time when plans and improvements contained in the bid are being realized. On take-over date the daily operation will be run by the same organization.

When signing up with suppliers and their sub-contractors, DSB demands that they adhere to a set of ethical rules for all purchasing and trading contracts.

DSB, on its side has taken steps towards certifying the physical and psychological working environments of the company and, all processes within maintenance have been certified to meet ISO standards.

Once the rail contract comes into force the task will be to undertake the daily operation of running the business to the benefit of the customers, the employees and the rail authorities.

DSB wishes to be a strong partner and the natural choice for both contracting authorities and potential business partners and continue being so by constantly improving and sharpening our competencies. This way, DSB will continue being the customers' natural choice.
